The Associated Builders & Contractors of CT is proud to present the first of it’s kind -  Connecticut Prevailing Wage 2.0.   This online, comprehensive, interactive curriculum is for non-union construction companies that perform work on prevailing wage jobs in Connecticut. 

Whether you are a business owner, estimator, office manager or bookkeeper, you need to thoroughly understand Connecticut Prevailing Wage Law.  Information will be presented that will assist all team members tasked with prevailing wage oversight.

The program takes approximately 3 hours to complete online and takes you step-by-step through the compliance process and includes “Self Test” questions along the way.

It covers the common (and uncommon) mistakes made in Prevailing Wage compliance – and also some general wage and hour laws such as travel time, overtime and time keeping and the recent changes to the Independent Contractor laws. 

In addition to assisting with legal compliance of Prevailing Wage, the program explores some resources and tools to dramatically reduce costs and will walk you through a couple of project examples where knowledge and resources can really make a difference in the bottom line.
